What I am focused on lately

My career at Sound Planning is currently OK. I will say that as of now, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected our business. Fortunately, we are still hanging in there. and hopefully we will see the other side of it with new strategies and opportunities to continue on.

My latest projects include: the Bahá'í House of Worship and I am looking forward to upgrading the system I designed about 15 years ago. It also has been nice to collaborate with Aaron Johnson of Threshold Acoustics

St. Peter Catholic Church in Geneva, IL just completed. You can see a little bit of it here

It's pretty hard to focus on much else when your financial future has changed so dramatically. I will still be taking pictures and posting them to Instagram as I can.

Since our world has dramatically changed in the pandemic shut down, we (my wife and I) have cancelled our future camping trips. We had planned a small car camping trip for May and later in summer.

Although we had not formally planned other trips, we are not even looking into them now.

I am certain that we can plan for some road trips at some point, we shall see...

I am halfway through Thinking: Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and am really enjoying it! I highly recommend it. It's really an easy read for such a heady topic. It really has opened my mind to how all of our brains really process information and how we are not rational or pragmatic beings.

That's all for now.
